Art in Embleton takes place on Sunday 4th May 2025 as part of our exciting new annual Art Trail Northumberland and Borders event.
Our visit to beautiful Embleton village, will see local artists and makers popping up at various venues, including Creighton Memorial Hall and neighbouring Holy Trinity Church. There will also be cakes and refreshments served by the local community in the Parish Meeting Hall next door to the church.
A group of around 12 artists and makers will be showing and selling their work at Creighton Memorial Hall 10.30am till 4pm.
Across the road at beautiful 12th century Holy Trinity Church there will be two special exhibitions and art demonstration 11am till 4pm (please note that this begins after the church service which is open to all 10am till 11am). Sculptor Luca Serra and textile artist Carrie Buchanan will exhibit their work at the church immediately after the Sunday Service ends at 11am. Luca will also be demonstrating his wood sculpting skills throughout the day as he works on one of his new pieces.
Just a short drive away at Rock Village, artist/printmaker Hannah Forsyth will open up her studio to visitors as part of our event.

Hannah Forsyth will be opening her studio a at nearby Rock village as part of the Art at Embleton event. See an exhibition of her work, along with printing demos.
She is just a 10 minutes' drive from Embleton, head on the B1339 towards Seahouses, then take a left to Christon Bank, head over the level crossing,
turn left onto B6347 after a mile or so turn right towards Rock Village, after 100 yards the Studio is just on the right at 4 Rock Moor Farm Cottages, NE66 2TG.
