Art in Embleton takes place on Sunday 4th May 2025 as part of our exciting new annual Art Trail Northumberland and Borders event.

Our visit to beautiful Embleton village, will see local artists and makers popping up at various venues, including Creighton Memorial Hall and neighbouring Holy Trinity Church. There will also be cakes and refreshments served by the local community in the Parish Meeting Hall next door to the church.

A group of around 12 artists and makers will be showing and selling their work at historic Creighton Memorial Hall 10.30am till 4pm.

Across the road at beautiful 12th century Holy Trinity Church there will be a special exhibition 11am till 4pm (please note that this begins after the church service which is open to all 10am till 11am).

We're also aiming to have some art demos throughout the day.

Please keep an eye on this event page for updates about the event and who will be joining us there.

Art Trail Northumberland and Borders is a new year-long event, which will see groups of local artists and makers popping up at various locations across the entire year. Every event will be different. Some will include just one venue, others will include art fairs, exhibitions, workshops and art demonstrations. We will also be inviting any nearby local artists and galleries to open up their studios as part of our visit.

Other locations included on next year's Art Trail are Whalton near Morpeth; Etal at Ford and Etal and Ayton Castle at Ayton village near Eyemouth. Please see the individual event pages to find out more about each venue.

We will be adding more venues and locations to the Art Trail soon. Find out more about it here.
