Tricia Duncan
Tricia started to paint seriously when she retired from teaching in 2002. Working mainly in watercolours and inks she finds much of her inspiration in the towns, villages and landscapes surrounding her home in the Scottish Borders. Tricia describes her painting style as eclectic, and she likes to experiment with new techniques.
Until recently she ran EPTAS Arts' gallery in Kelso but is now moving her business online. While working in the gallery Tricia completed many fine art commissions, embodying a vast range of subjects including pet portraits. She also used her teaching skills to help those wishing to learn how to draw and paint – something she is continuing, providing lessons either in her Yetholm based studio or at a client’s home.
