Linda Scott-Robinson
Linda is a landscape painter, who works mostly in watercolours, acrylics and mixed media. Based in North Northumberland, she gains much inspiration for her work, from the surrounding countryside.
"My work explores colour and light in the landscape with a tendency towards the dramatic. As I wander through my day I’m constantly distracted by the little jewels in our countryside, the light flitting across a hill or the variety of colour in our hedgerows", she explains.
Linda works from outdoor paintings, sketches and photographs to produce work that conveys those moments to the viewer.
