Peter Hallam
Peter Hallam in an award-winning artist, based in the Scottish Borders. He has a wonderful eye for colour and his oil on canvas paintings, usually of people, are instantly recognisable. Many are based on people he has met, but often take on many forms before he's happy with the final piece.
Peter is largely self-taught and has been a professional artist for more than 20 years. He has exhibited throughout the UK and in the USA, including the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh. In 2006 he won The Cravens Art Prize for his painting ‘Don’t Feed the Animals’ inspired by Celebrity Big Brother.
He has regular sell-out annual shows in London, Edinburgh and Newcastle and his work is becoming increasingly collectable.
